First Funny: Moolah!

So, my best friend Alyssa and I are talking on Facebook about this fabulous shopping spree we're planning for Spring Break, and she said something that I thought would be totally perfect to put on here! Here's how the conversation went:

Me: *after just discovering that we have 12 weeks until our Spring Break* And, when you think about it, 12 weeks isn't that long!

Alyssa: Nope, but it's plenty of time for us to earn some moolah! :)

Me: Hahahahahahaha. Moolah.

Alyssa: What's wrong with moolah?!

Me: It's a funny word. Moolah. LOL

Alyssa: Haha, I guess you're right..... MOOOOOOOOlah... It's like a cow singing! :D

Me: .... LMAO.

And then I went on to say that I called that for my blog, and she couldn't post it on hers, which is here, by the way. :)

Well, I hope you enjoyed this little blurb. I probably just wasted a bunch of peoples' time with this post. You're welcome!

Thanks for reading!

Getting to Know Me: My stores!

Here's yet another series, Getting to Know Me. In the "getting to know me" posts I will tell a little about where I like to shop, what I normally gravitate toward, how I choose my outfits, and so on. The first installment is My Stores!

The first store I absolutely love to shop at (in case you couldn't already tell) is Forever 21.

the logo, in case somebody has never seen the store, but wants to start shopping there.
Well, if you know Forever 21, and shop there the reasons I love it are pretty obvious. It has amazing clothes-plenty of basics, and then some more fun, quirky pieces- and they have great prices. I own a pair of skinny leather pants from there, you haven't seen them on here, but you will, and guess how much they are. $11.99 on the website. Twelve dollars for a great pair of pants! Twelve!

The next store I'm known to frequent is Rue 21.

Rue 21 is bascially the same thing as Forever 21, but they are a little different. Rue 21 has a different vibe than Forever 21. Rue 21 has a lot more dressy items, and Forever 21 has a great mixture of both. Rue 21 also has an amazing selection of accessories. Almost every time I go into that store I come out with either shoes, a scarf or some form of jewelry. It's prices are slightly higher than Forever 21's, but they are still great deals.

Another store I like a lot is H&M.

H&M is definitely the place to go if you like high-end basics. When I look at their online selection I see a lot of solid colors, and staples for any woman/girl's closet. However, I especially like their accessory section too. Before Christmas there was this great set of like, 6 rings that were to die for! Also, I don't know if anyone reading this has ever actually been in a H&M store, but there is literally walls, and walls of accessories. No lie. Hats, scarves, jewelry, belts, shoes, you name it. Gahh, just thinking about it makes me want to go back to New York City, where I had my first encounter with this store. Needless to say, I'm hooked for life.

Next on the list is American Eagle.

Now, American Eagle isn't really like the stores I listed above. It's more mainstream, and relaxed, but nevertheless I still like it, and I still shop there. Their jeans are my favorite out of all other stores. They fit me great, and the skinnies are slim, but not tooooo tight like other skinnies I've worn. I'm also a fan of their flannel shirts. They're nice and comfy, very warm. They always have the cutest outfits set out on the mannequins too. I always love them. The prices here are a little steep, but I think you get what you pay for.

So, that's basically all the stores I like to shop at. There are a few I left out, just because I don't shop at them as much, but you get the idea. Well, that's the first post of "Getting to Know Me!" I am in no way affiliated with any of the brands above. I just love them!

On my radar... January 2012

So, I've started another series, On My Radar. I'll do it every so often, mostly when I find something I love, and cannot live without. Let's start.

These are navy and white striped oxfords from Forever 21. I am in love. I'm pretty sure I can't function without these in my closet. I honestly can't think of something i wouldn't wear these with. Love.

This is Hoots from Aldo Shoes. It's a vibrant blue suede ankle bootie, and they make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. These are so freaking cool! So bright... :)

I really like this. It's a sequin bomber from Forever 21. This would be so eyecatching and fun with a neutral tee and skinnies.. I can see it now; I need this in my closet.

I feel the same way about this. It's a leopard blazer, also from Forever 21. Black v-neck, black skinnies, and sparkly black TOMS+ this blazer= FABULOUS.

Oddly enough, I have this shirt, and leather pants. All I need is the great jacket to complete the look! Suedette Jacket from Forever 21.

Actually, this is for both of the items in this picture. I absolutely adore how the dress and hat look together. I think it's perfect for the spring/summer. Faint Flower Dress from Forever 21.

I have a thing about animal prints.. I find myself becoming increasingly enticed with them, especially leopard. These are Grey Leopard Skinnies from Forever 21. I don't really know what to say, but that I love these. :)

I have an affinity with jeans. I feel the same way about shoes. You can never have enough. To me, these are  a staple. Loooove!

And, shoes! They're like my tiger ones, but without ties, and LEOPARD! :) Fabulous.

Well, that's all that is on my radar for now. I'll post more of these periodically as I see something I like. The "January 2012" in the title really has no meaning....

Thanks for reading!
